Terms & Conditions
Please review these terms carefully before downloading digital 3D models or using our physical manufacturing and slicing services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By browsing, accessing, registering, or placing an order through Printoble (operated by Printoble Inc.), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all interactions with our website, catalog items, digital 3D model downloads (.STL, .3MF, .STEP), custom slicing tools, and physical manufacturing services.
If you do not agree with these terms in full, please discontinue the use of our services and do not purchase or download any files.
2. 3D Model & Digital IP Licensing
All 3D digital models, geometric meshes, pre-configured slicing profiles, and mechanical assemblies hosted on Printoble are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- •Printing physical items for personal, household, or gift use.
- •Slicing with your personal slicing software (Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer).
- •Scaling or adjusting slicing settings to suit your desktop 3D printer hardware.
- •Re-distributing, sublicensing, reselling, or sharing the digital .3MF or .STL source files.
- •Selling printed physical copies without obtaining a Commercial License.
- •Re-uploading digital models to third-party marketplaces or file sharing repositories.
3. Print Quality & Manufacturing Tolerances
Additive manufacturing is a layer-by-layer deposition process. While we maintain high production standards:
- Dimensional Clearance: Articulated models are calibrated with clearance tolerances to allow free joint rotation while maintaining structural integrity.
- Surface Texture: Subtle layer lines (typically 0.12mm to 0.20mm layer heights) are inherent to fused deposition modeling and do not represent manufacturing defects.
- Material Heat Resistance: Standard PLA and Silk PLA have a glass transition temperature around 55°C (131°F). Models should not be left in direct sunlight inside parked vehicles or exposed to extreme temperatures.
4. Printoble Quality Guarantee & Refund Policy
We take pride in our production standards. If your physical print order arrives with any of the following issues:
Resolution: Please contact support with photos and your Order ID within 7 days of delivery. Upon review, we will provide a free reprint or a full refund. Digital file purchases are non-refundable once downloaded, but our technical team provides support if any mesh geometry errors are encountered.
5. Custom STL & CAD File Uploads
When using our on-demand printing and file upload services:
- You represent that you hold all necessary rights and licenses for any uploaded designs and that fabrication does not infringe on third-party intellectual property.
- Printoble asserts no ownership over your private 3D designs. Files are processed exclusively for slicing and manufacturing your order.
- We reserve the right to decline any print order involving weapons, hazardous components, or unlawful items.
6. Orders, Dispatch & Delivery
Digital file downloads are accessible immediately in your account vault upon payment completion. Physical custom prints are manufactured and dispatched typically within 24 to 72 hours depending on queue volume.
Courier tracking numbers are automatically sent to your registered email once shipments depart our facilities.
7. Payments & Invoicing
All prices are displayed in your selected local currency. Full payment authorization is required before digital download tokens are generated or manufacturing orders are scheduled.
Transactions are processed through encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant gateways (Razorpay, Stripe). Printoble does not store or process complete payment card numbers on our infrastructure.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Printoble Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our digital assets or fabricated models. Our aggregate liability is limited to the purchase amount paid for the specific order.
